More rest day.....
I finially figured out how illegals learn English so fast, it's through necessary things like wanting to eat or get some water. I came out of my room at 2:00 the place was deserted, now at four, it's a mad house again. Tried to find a shop to get a wider cooler hat...not going to happen. I see some pilgrims coming in looking for a room. Yep we all walk the same. I have a drug store across from my hotel I need to get some sun lotion if they ever open up. It's true they all take a nap during the heat of the day.

ReplyDeleteI was proud of us older folks. I agree…more over 56 (my age) then younger than I. Dan and I could never understand, why a country of such high unemployment, weren’t standing there at the shops waiting to take our money at any time of day or night. Tradition in the descanso is a very hard concept to grasp. The hell with dinner at 8:00! I was in bed by 8:00! I wanted to eat by 5:30. Despite the heat, I always enjoyed the hearty soups. Panchos (white beans) was one of my favorite. We had that the night at Orisson.
